Description

Ingredients

  • 500g minced beef
  • 2 bacon rashers
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 stick celery
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 800g chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 400ml crème fraîche
  • 125g mozzarella
  • 50g Parmesan
  • 500g lasagne sheets

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon, onions, celery, and carrots until softened
  2. Add minced beef, cook until browned, then stir in tomato puree, chopped tomatoes, honey, and seasoning
  3. Simmer for 20 minutes
  4. Layer the ragu sauce and lasagne sheets in a baking dish, finish with crème fraîche and mozzarella topping
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbling
