Ingredients

  • 250g chicken strips
  • 150g jasmine rice
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 spring onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 5g ginger paste
  • 8g cornstarch
  • 50ml soy sauce
  • 10g sesame seeds
  • 10ml sesame oil
  • 4g chicken broth
  • salt
  • sugar
  • water
  • oil
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice by boiling in water and letting it sit
  2. Slice the vegetables and set them aside
  3. Coat the chicken with cornstarch and fry until golden brown
  4. Sauté the vegetables with ginger, then add soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and chicken broth
  5. Simmer until the carrots are tender
  6. Mix cornstarch with water, add to the sauce, and cook until thickened
  7. Serve the chicken and sauce over the rice
