Ingredients
- 1/2 cup buckwheat flour
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp yeast
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 egg (separated)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk buckwheat flour, all-purpose flour, salt, and yeast
- Add warm milk and mix until smooth
- Let rise for 1 hour
- Stir in melted butter and egg yolk
- Fold in whisked egg white
- Let batter rest for 20 minutes
- Heat butter in a skillet, drop batter, cook for 1 minute, flip, and cook for 30 seconds more
- Repeat with remaining batter
